Frequently Asked Questions
What type of vehicles do you value?
How is the instant valuation calculated?
Is the instant valuation the amount you will pay?
As long as the information you supply regarding your vehicle is accurate, we can finalise the inspection and complete the sales process in accordance with the valuation.
The instant valuation is subject to an inspection of your vehicle and our terms and conditions. If the information that you have supplied regarding the condition of the vehicle is inaccurate, we may revise or withdraw the instant valuation.
Is the instant valuation negotiable?
No. The instant valuation will not be revised except if the information that you provide is incomplete or incorrect.
How long is the instant valuation valid for?
What happens after I accept the valuation?
A friendly member of our sales team will be in contact with you to organise an inspection of your vehicle at your nearest Autopact dealer. You will need to bring:
- all sets of vehicle keys;
- 100 points of identification (which includes your driver's licence);
- your service history logbook;
- evidence of registration and proof of ownership;
- any accessories; and
- any other relevant documents.
We will inspect the vehicle to ensure that it matches the information you have submitted regarding your vehicle.
If the vehicle passes the inspection, we will make you an offer for the amount of the valuation. If the vehicle does not pass the inspection, the valuation may change and we may make an offer based on our varied valuation of the vehicle, or decide not to make you an offer.
If you accept our offer, we will complete the selling process and organise payment or trade-in of your vehicle.
Do you accept modified vehicles?
Yes. However, we will not be able to provide you with an instant valuation of a modified vehicle online. Once you submit your details online, we will be in touch to organise a vehicle inspection and provide you with a valuation.
